Just how secure is your Door ?
The majority of PVCu and Composite doors in the UK are fitted with a standard Euro
Cylinder similar to the picture on the right.
These type of locks are under threat of Lock Snapping and Lock Bumping
techniques now being used by thieves to enter our homes !

Locking Systems are fitted to most PVCu and Composite Doors. These work
by securing the door to the frame using multiple pins and hooks built
into the mechanism that engage when you lift the door handle.
You secure this mechanism in the locked position by
turning your key in the door's Lock Cylinder.
Unfortunately your Multi-Point Locking System is only as efficient as
your Lock Cylinder which is under threat of Lock Snapping and Lock
Bumping techniques now being used by thieves to enter our homes.
Once the lock is snapped a thief can gain access to the simple mechanism
that secures your multipoint locking system and then they can open your
door as if unlocked - Less than a minute in most cases!
